We use some of our funds, from membership and donations, to help support local wildlife, conservation, and education projects in the form of monetary grants. This is often just a few hundred pounds, but can be more. These grants make a huge difference to local initiatives.

Wildlife Friendly Otley

  • ​Wild native bulbs for St Martin's Field and Grove Hill Park.

  • Refurbishment of the wildlife pond at Pool-in-Wharfedale CE Primary School.

  • Funding for children's author, Nicola Penfold, to attend Otley Wildlife Arts Festival.

  • Wildflower seeds for Gallows Hill Nature Reserve.

  • Toad patrol signs.

  • Hedge and tree planting, along new Dales Way permissive path near Hubberholme.
