Sphagnum moss workshops and Waxcap symposium
UKEconet, in conjunction with Sheffield Hallam University, is running the following events in October and November:
- Sphagnum Mosses: Identification, Diversity, Landscapes & Ecology – October & November 2014
- Waxcaps & Allied Fungi Symposium – 7th & 8th November 2014
The Sphagnum workshops will be investigating different habitats and species and will provide a more varied landscape-scale approach. However there will still be identification sessions using microscopes. Early booking is essential as there are limited places available.
