A final foray to try to re-find the enigmatic liverwort Jungermannia leiantha is planned for Saturday 1st November. YNU Recorder Tom Blockeel will lead the hunt using newly surfaced information on the previous record.
We will be meeting just north of Ingleton at SD 7021 7339 – quarry car-park on B6255 at 10.30am.

Run by the Friend's of Gallows Hill, the Gallows Hill Nature Area is situated on the banks of the Wharfe, in Otley.

We discovered this American signal crayfish whilst working on restoring the beck. These were introduced into the wharfe over 20yrs ago and have spread everywhere.
